Customer Service and Support Representative
RealVNC® is a highly successful software company based in Cambridge (UK) city centre. As the original developers of VNC® remote access technology our software is used by hundreds of millions of users worldwide from the non-technical home user to IT professionals from global companies, such as Intel, IBM, NASA, Shell, DreamWorks and Philips.
Having recently secured PE investment, we are entering the next chapter in our growth journey and are looking to expand our team.
RealVNC are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as Customer Service and Support Representative.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take an active role in providing first class support to our global customer base. Reporting to the Product Support Team Lead, you will be the first point of contact for customers from our worldwide customer base as they contact us via web, live chat and phone for assistance on a range of issues. This will require you to communicate directly with customers, escalating to internal teams as required, to effectively resolve customer issues and answer their questions
It will be your responsibility to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained through timely and accurate responses, maintain thorough and accurate customer service records and maintain up-to-date knowledge of RealVNC products and services.
Full training will be provided for you to become familiar with our Sales, Product Support and Finance systems and use them effectively. You will also work closely with others, in your team and other teams as necessary, to ensure customer requests are dealt with efficiently.
- Can multitask - you’ll need to simultaneously navigate our online documentation and use our internal systems to assist customers on a range of issues via our web-based support system, phone calls and live chat
- Work well in a team but can work autonomously when necessary
- Have excellent communication skills
