  • No install, zero footprint

    There’s no need for end users to install or license any software. A technician simply prompts an end user to download a small, disposable app that can be safely deleted after the session ends, leaving no footprint.

  • Seamless, instant connectivity

    Our cloud service connects technicians and end users in seconds, without complex or insecure network reconfiguration. Note both endpoints require an Internet connection.

  • Cross-platform screen sharing

    VNC remote control is smooth, responsive and intuitive, works exactly the same way across any supported platform, and our patent-protected technology is perfect for high latency and low bandwidth environments.

  • End-to-end encryption

    Every session is protected using 128-bit AES encryption and perfect forward secrecy, for privacy you can rely on. If you purchase an Enterprise subscription, you can increase this to 256-bit AES.

  • Simple session code authorization

    A unique, non-reusable 9 digit code, communicated out-of-band by your technician, is all an end user requires to start a session.

  • An end user must explicitly consent to the moment their screen is actually shared, providing an opportunity to ensure no confidential or personally-identifiable information is visible on the screen.

  • Elevation to run admin operations

    Your technician may need administrative privileges to solve a problem. Choose whether your end user or technician supplies the system credentials required to elevate.

  • Reboot and automatic resume

    Your technician may need to reboot to solve the problem. A session is automatically resumed, without requiring a new code (Windows only in this release).

  • Transfer files in either direction

    Your technician can download files from the end user's computer, or upload files to it. The end user is notified that file transfer operations are occurring.

  • Text chat and leave a message

    Your technician and the end user can chat securely during the session, and the technician can leave a message that persists after the session ends.

  • Branding and app customization

    If you purchase an Enterprise subscription, you can replace RealVNC's company name, logo and app icon with your own, so end users experience a brand they recognize and trust.

  • Comprehensive session history

    A list of all sessions conducted by the technicians in your team is stored online. If you purchase an Enterprise subscription, you can drill down and download or review an activity log that includes all chat, reboot, elevation and file transfer operations.
